Since 2023, our company has identified "Contributing to a Sustainable Global Environment" as one of our materialities, and we are working on climate change countermeasures through the reduction of greenhouse gas (hereinafter "GHG") emissions associated with our business activities.

This time, we have commissioned the Japan Quality Assurance Organization (JQA) to conduct third-party verification of our GHG emissions data for fiscal year 2024 Scope 1, 2, and 3 (Categories 1-15) with the aim of improving the reliability of emissions data, and have obtained a verification report.
This verification was conducted in accordance with the international standard "ISO 14064-3," and this achievement further enhances the accuracy and reliability of the data we provide to our stakeholders.

We will continue to promote activities aimed at achieving our GHG emission reduction targets, while also monitoring quantitative information and providing highly transparent information disclosure.

■Initiatives to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and medium-term targets

Since 2023, we have identified "Contributing to a sustainable global environment" as one of our materialities and have been working on climate change countermeasures through reducing GHG emissions associated with our business activities.
To promote energy conservation, we have introduced LED lighting in stores and offices, and in December 2024, we switched the Tokyo head office building to 100% renewable energy electricity.
We are also promoting the use of environmentally friendly materials, waste reduction, and plastic use reduction and recycling.
Furthermore, aiming to reduce GHG emissions across the entire supply chain, we are advancing the modeling of our own factories and sharing information with the supply chain toward reducing GHG emissions
