On Sunday, July 9, we held a Clothing Education Class at Eco Gallery Shinjuku (Shinjuku Ward Environmental Learning Information Center) in Shinjuku Central Park, and on Thursday, June 29, we held a Clothing Education Class at Nishi-Shinjuku Elementary School.

About Clothing Education Classes

Since 2014, we have been conducting Clothing Education Classes at elementary schools in Tokyo with the aim of experiencing the joy of manufacturing and fostering a spirit of wearing clothes with care for a long time.

Since 2017, we have been conducting classes for children in Shinjuku City in cooperation with Eco Gallery Shinjuku (Shinjuku City Environmental Learning Information Center) in Shinjuku Central Park as an initiative in Shinjuku City, where our head office is located.

On the day of the class, an employee from our Corporate Communication Department played the role of teacher, explaining the process of making clothes and the upcycling process, and then letting elementary school children experience the upcycling process of making "coasters" using our remnants.
