Sanyo has established Business partner compliance consultation/reporting desk for business partners as an initiative to promote proper business with them.

We are endeavoring to strengthen our Compliance system by detecting and correcting illegal or inappropriate acts at an early stage, and protecting our business partners (hereinafter referred to as "informants") who have contacted us.

Please take note of the following points when consulting or reporting.

Reception details

  • Compliance issues and concerns arise in the execution of business operations by our executives and employees and in the corporations of our business partners, including violations of laws and regulations, misconduct, violations of human rights, and violations of corporate ethics.
  • Please note that we do not promise to answer or respond to all inquiries or reports.

Target Group

  • We will target all of our business partners, regardless of whether they are corporations or individuals, and regardless of the form of employment.
  • Consultations and reports from persons other than those listed above will not be accepted in principle.

Our Response

  • Consultations and reports will be accepted by the person in charge in our Legal Department and shared with the relevant departments as appropriate.
  • We may ask the information providers to provide additional information on the details of consultations and reports we have received, if we believe that an investigation is necessary.
  • Regarding the results of the survey and subsequent responses, we will give full consideration to the privacy of the parties concerned and contact the information providers as necessary.

Prohibition of disadvantageous treatment

  • We will not treat any person who provides information or his/her department in a manner that is disadvantageous to such person by reason of consultation or notification.

Communications and Notes

  • Please use the submission form on the later part of the page and enter the name and contact information of the information provider, your affiliation (company name, department signature, etc.), and other prescribed items.
  • If it is difficult to clarify your name due to circumstances, we will also accept anonymous consultations and reports.
    However, in such a case, there is a possibility that the investigation will not be fully conducted.
    In addition, in principle, we do not report the results of any inquiries about anonymous consultations or reports, so please be aware in advance.
  • We will not accept consultations or reports based on dissatisfaction or opinions regarding our management policy, business measures or the individual qualities of the person in charge, or on the purpose of liberation, defamation, misstatement, or other improprieties.
  • Sales activities and solicitation e-mails and various questionnaires sent to us are strictly prohibited.
    If you send us this information, we will not respond in any way.

Handling of personal information

  • The personal information of the information provider you entered is protected by SSL encrypted communication.
  • We will use the personal information of the information provider when responding to the contact we received, and will manage it appropriately in accordance with our Personal Information Protection Policy.
