Sanyo has contracted SDGs Lease "MIRAI 2030®" (donation type), which is provided by Sumitomo Mitsui Finance & Leasing Co., Ltd. with the support of the Japan Research Institute, and donated a portion of the lease payments to More Trees through Sumitomo Mitsui Finance & Leasing Co., Ltd.

"MIRAI 2030®" has two types. One is a donation-type, in which a portion of the lease fee is donated by Sumitomo Mitsui Finance & Leasing Co., Ltd. to a public-interest incorporated foundation or an accredited NPO corporation that contributes to the achievement of SDGs, and the other is a valuation-type, in which appraisals are prepared for facilities related to renewable energy and energy-saving and energy-saving initiatives, such as the benefits of introduction of facilities and SDGs initiatives.

We have a contract for "MIRAI 2030®" (donation type)*1, and the donations will be used for the conservation of forests by More Trees*2.

Through these activities, we will continue to contribute to the following SDGs goals.

More Trees have implemented a variety of initiatives with the aim of creating a society where forests and humans can live together for a long time, based on the key phrase "connecting cities and forests," including the development of "more trees forests" to conserve forests in cooperation with local communities, planning and developing products and services using domestic wood, and disseminating information and the appeal of forests through seminars and events.
